Plan Your Visit

The venue is appointment-based and requires visitors to schedule tours and walkthroughs at least 24 hours in advance. Guest experience is our top priority for us so we reserve individual time slots for all tours, walkthroughs, and meetings. Visitor preparation includes opening and closing the venue, cleaning and organizing each space, adjusting overhead and accent lighting, and overall crafting a unique experience for all guests at the venue.

When driving to The Plant Venue, take the I-55 Interstate exit onto Lakeland Drive towards the Fondren District. Turn onto Mitchell Avenue next to Walkers Drive In and head west to The Fondren Warehouse District. After crossing the railroad tracks, take your first right onto Commerce Park Drive. The entrance to the gated gravel lot is located about 200 feet from the intersection of Commerce Park Drive and Mitchell Avenue. From there, guests can park and enter the venue through the designated entries. 

Visitor walkthroughs include a dedicated 30-45 minute time slot allotted for guiding guests through the space, consulting about event details, handing out venue resources, and answering questions about the facility. The intentionality involved in giving tours is a curated effort and requires advanced notice for this reason.

If visitors do not show up for the scheduled meeting time without 24 hour notice, a second walkthrough is not guaranteed to be rescheduled by the venue. We ask prospective clients to be respectful of the time and effort of The Plant Venue management team as we consult with a large influx of visitors and guests each week.

If/when there is road work or roadblocks along Mitchell Avenue, take one block south from Mitchell Avenue onto Lorenz Boulevard down to Mill Street. Take a right onto Mill Street, then left back onto Mitchell Avenue. Across the railroad tracks, you will see the venue on the right with the main parking entrance 200 feet down Commerce Park Drive.
